We served hot food this time which sold out just before lunchtime- gnocchi with spicy pork ragu (and parmesan of course!). We stuck with the large tortelloni this time, most people seemed to prefer that- 5 cheese, roasted red pepper and feta, slow cooked beef (for those that know this was Granny's beef & gnocci recipe).

Another market done!
Just over a week ago we had another great market at Moseley. Thankfully this time the rain kept away and numbers were up from the previous month.

We stuck with the large tortelloni this time, most people seemed to prefer that- 5 cheese, roasted red pepper and feta, slow cooked beef (for those that know this was Granny's beef & gnocci recipe).
Sarah also made spinach and rictotta lasagne which also sold out quickly- we'll make more next time.

Moseley Market
A big thank you to everyone who came along to the market. We really enjoyed our first farmers market, met some interesting people and had good fun in the process.
We sold out at lunchtime, so will make sure we bring more pasta along next time. The 5 cheese tortellini was the clear favourite, mushroom tortelloni was next (probably helped by having he stall right next to the mushroom man!). Last to go was the spicy pork- which was a real surprise as this is our favourite.
Feedback on what everyone thinks would be really appreciated.
See you next month, and thanks for popping along!

Nearly there!
So, after a few months of jumping through bureaucratic hoops and doing courses etc. we are ready to start at our first market. Actually, it was not too bad a process to go through and everyone involved from food hygiene course tutors to environmental health inspectors were hugely helpful. A shelf full of paperwork and a wall full of certificates means we are good to go!
Saturday 24th July is our first market.

Where it all started
We are happy to bore anyone to tears about the virtues of fresh home made pasta! Last year the lovely people at Market Kitchen invited us on the show to cook for their guests. Ruth and Liz (sound and camera) also came up to film the kids make goats cheese and herb tortellini, you can still see the repeats on UKTV.
The guests, presenters and the entire production crew are genuine foodies and were very enthusiastic about our pasta, many of them suggested we should turn it into a cottage industry.
One of the guests happened to be Dave Isgrove one of the founders of Moseley Farmers Market who thought a fresh pasta stall would be a great addition. As one of the best markets in the region we jumped at the chance, in July we will be kicking things off with our first stall- we'd love to see you there!
